As we enter into this new Chamber year, I’d like to graciously thank the
previous President, Wayne Benos for his dedication to our organization.
As with anything new, comes change. This year change is essential for
our growth and success. As members, you’ll notice an internal
realignment, as active members, like myself, take on new challenges
within our newly assigned roles.
The most important challenge of this year is to make this “your
chamber,” which is only possible through advocacy, retention and
attraction of our membership. The Cuyahoga Valley Chamber of Commerce
should be considered a quality advocate for businesses within our six
communities. Success can be measured by the retention of our membership;
we are proud to claim you as members, and look forward to your continued
support. To attract new members, and establish our necessary growth, it
is my goal to achieve the following objectives:
~Connect with each member, building on your suggestions, input, feedback
and needs so that we can be the catalyst for business partnerships
within our communities.
~ Through our networking ability and opportunities, strengthen our
relationships with our surrounding neighbors.
~To be considered an innovative platform to showcase your business by
means of new program roll-outs, enhanced website functionality for
improved interaction, and superior networking opportunities.
“The more people that are attracted to you,
the more solid connections you’ll make.”
These objectives mark the journey toward our overall goal to be “your
chamber.” Together, with “your” participation, these goals can be
accomplished. Your success is our destination.
